Grinders Coffee was established in 1962 in Lygon St, Carlton by two Italian coffee roasters Giancarlo Giusti and Rino Benassi.

With commitment to technology and growth, Grinders Coffee has moved on from humble beginnings to a coffee roasting factory in Fitzroy in 1998 and recently to a state of the art coffee roasting plant in Fairfield 2004.

The high quality coffee is recognised throughout the heart of Melbourne's burgeoning cafés and restaurants. The Grinders reputation has grown Australia wide, especially in major cities: Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Hobart where coffee culture has become part of the daily grind.

As well as roasting and supplying a variety of fresh coffee blends to consumers from all walks of life, Grinders Coffee is also responsible for the distribution of coffee equipment to customers and the provision of training, technical support and regular service.
